All Fire pits should have some sort of a safety spark screen.

Our stock made safety screens are very well made. They are made of a heavy steel screen mesh and with a steel frame to support the screen. It comes in two pieces that will require some assembly. Two screws that attaches the two pieces of the safety screen. Once assembled the safety screen will fold open for easy access. It makes it easy to add more firewood and to stoke the fire. Our fire pit safety screens are also taller.

So when you are ordering the safety screen you are ordering that actual size of the screen - not the size of fire pit that you want the screen to fit.
